Now Seeking Nursery Attendants - Sunday mornings
St. Luke is seeking three adults, ages 18 or over, to staff our nursery (two attendants each Sunday) year-round from 9:00-noon. Compensation for each attendant is $20/hour. If you or someone you know loves working with young children and families, has knowledge about child development from birth - age 5, and is looking for a rewarding way to spend a Sunday morning, please see the Job Description or contact Lisa Sickler ([email protected], 503-550-4107) for more information.

Sunday School

Growing and learning in faith is part of the call of all disciples of Jesus.  
St. Luke Children’s Ministry focuses on teaching God’s love and bringing meaningful connections to the faith journeys of our young members ages 4 years to 5th grade.

A time during the 9:15 am Sunday service where children hear the Scripture reading in a kid-accessible manner: classic storytelling!

Middle School Ministries

Seeking to immerse Middle Schoolers in the Love of God

Confirmation is an important step on the journey of faith and an affirmation of baptism. Youth and parents share in a three year journey exploring faith, worship, and life together. We are lead by our pastors and a team of totally awesome mentors and teachers. Additionally regular fellowship experiences and service projects strengthen our connection with each other, the church and the world.

Ages: Grades 6-8
​Time: Sundays 10:30-11:30am, plus 2-3 retreats

SLY - St. Luke Youth

SLY is the name of our group for high school students at St. Luke. All are invited to come be a part of the transformational group who are learning how to love, care for each other, pray for life’s realities, and get dirty in service—doing God’s work in our world.

Sunday mornings is a time to check in with each other, sharing a time of learning and fellowship.  We also have periodic fun activities—and hope to resume our yearly service or mission trips in the summer. Come and check us out!

Nursery Care

Childcare facilities are available during our Sunday services and other special events. Our fully remodeled nursery is located on the lower level. 

​Ages: Infants through 5 years are welcome.
Time: Sundays all year (closed on holiday weekends) 10:15-11:30am 
Godly Play, Bible storytelling with beautiful wooden materials, is nested within the structure of the 10:30 education hour, a weekly session which offers an assortment of stationed activities that dovetail thematically. Godly Play stories integrate liturgical elements and invite children’s innate capacity for curiosity and wonder.
