Lenten 2026 Men's Retreat
Life Together: The Dynamics of Christian Community
2/20-2/22
Alton Collins Retreat Center
Rev. Mark Brocker, Theologian in Residence, will lead our Men’s Lenten Retreat. Guided by Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Life Together, we'll consider how our life together as the people of St. Luke can be a form of resistance in this unsettled political time.

We'll get a taste of the "liturgy" of Bonhoeffer's Finkewalde community that balanced communal worship and leisure.

Rev. Patti Welch, Lead Pastor, will lead our Women’s Lenten Retreat. Guided by the luminous voices of Christian women mystics, we'll explore how their lives of prayer and courage speak into our own Lenten journey.

Through shared reflection, silence, and simple contemplative practice, we'll trace the movements of God's love that invite us toward healing, wholeness, and renewal.

February Table Talk: 2/24 & 2/28
“Does ICE Need to be Abolished?”
Join us for our February Table Talk! We’ll meet 2/24 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom and 2/28 at 11:00 a.m. in the Conference Room.

The need for comprehensive, common sense, compassionate immigration reform seems more pressing than ever. In his Christian Century article, Phil Christman asserts, "Abolish ICE, and don’t stop there.”

In Leviticus 19:34, the people of Israel are exhorted to love “resident non-citizens” as themselves. What does that look like in our context?

To prepare for this Table Talk, read the Christian Century article: Abolish ICE, and don't stop there.
