Grants Process The following is a general time line that is followed each year for the issuing of grants from the St. Luke Social Concerns Committee: Each organization must reapply annually for a grant. By the first Tuesday in January, complete the Grant Application Form below and submit it to the St. Luke Social Concerns Committee. (The Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month.) The committee considers requests as they are received. Requests that are received after the estimated available funds have been allotted will not be considered unless additional funds become available in the fourth quarter. Whenever possible, the committee will notify applicants within three months as to whether or not their request meets the committee guidelines, including the ten volunteer requirement, and has been approved. There are times that we are unable to grant the total amount requested, but may fulfill some of the request. Beginning in March the committee treasurer will issue the first quarterly
checks to qualifying organizations. Small grants may be paid in full,
as funds are available. The treasurer will notify each organization which
